The short version
Miner Pole Buildings started in 1977 as a small post-frame contractor working out of Hubbard, in the heart of the Willamette Valley. The first builds were ag structures and shops for neighboring farms.
49 years later the service area covers most of western Oregon and southwest Washington, and the work has grown to include large-scale equestrian arenas, commercial buildings, public-sector projects, and barndominium-style residential structures. The company is still in Hubbard, still family-owned, and still running with in-house framing crews.
Some customers from the early years have come back for second, third, even fourth buildings over two-plus decades. That is the work we measure ourselves on.
How we work
Experience
Since 1977
49 years of post-frame and steel building construction. Every building type, every county permitting nuance, every kind of customer. The institutional memory shows up in the little decisions on every job.
Trustworthy
In-house crews
Framing crews are MPB employees, not subcontracted. The hands that draw your building are the hands that build it. That is how you get consistency from project to project and through a long career of repeat customers.
Efficient
Clear path, scheduled build
Base price plus itemized additions. Defined timeline. The six-phase process from quote to finished building is the same on a 24×36 shop as on a 100×250 arena, just compressed or stretched.
The difference
One point of contact, from the first call to the finished building.
You won't get passed between departments or left wondering who is responsible for what. One person walks you through design, permitting, and the build, and is on site as it goes up. Nearly 49 years of refined process and our own in-house crews keep quality control tight from footing to final trim.

Are you licensed?
Yes. Oregon Construction Contractors Board license CCB# 205558 and Washington state contractor license MINERPB841BO. Insurance and bonding are current.
Do you subcontract labor?
Framing crews and foremen are MPB employees, so the post-frame build itself is in-house. Concrete pours, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and specialty footing (arena sand) run through licensed subcontractors when the project requires them.
Where do you work?
Across Oregon and southwest Washington. We serve every county in Oregon — from the Willamette Valley through Hood River and the Columbia Gorge — plus the southern Washington counties.
What kinds of buildings do you build?

How big is the company?
Family-owned, in-house framing crew, and a small office team handling sales, scheduling, and administration. Big enough to take on large-scale commercial projects and deliver them on time; small enough that the same people answer the phone, go over your project, and write your bid.
Want to know if we're the right fit?
The fastest way to find out is to send us a quote request. We'll review the scope, do a project review, and you'll have a written bid in hand within a few weeks.
